On January 25th, 2015, I left the United States to spend four months living in Florence, Italy… or Firenze, Italia as the Italians would say. It was the adventure of a lifetime, and the travel bug that bit me has me begging more exploring time.
Before I left, I was wanderlust. I knew that this was my chance to feed my craving for exploration. I didn’t want to miss a single thing so I did all of my research. When I got my apartment address, I started looking on Google Maps at the street view, to find that I was right next to the Duomo and that I had a lot of great attractions right near me. And of course, once I arrived, I learned so much more about my new home and all of the wonderful pieces of history and my heritage that it have in store for me.
If you are going to be travelling to Florence, I highly recommend that you check out a few of these places!
